Chunky Cowlneck Sweater

Looking for the Best Fall Sweater? Joie has done it again!

A brisk day on Boston’s Beacon Hill heralded the debut of my most favorite fall purchase to date — a Joie Soft Chunky Cowlneck Sweater.  I liken the first time ever wearing something new to a maiden voyage of sorts. Will Ms. Joie Cowlneck Sweater have the stuff it takes to do some heavy lifting in my closet? Well, the answer is a resounding yes! I broke in my cowlneck sweater for a day of errands and wandering on Charles Street and Beacon Hill. Boston felt ever so autumnal with the first leaves changing, cooler temperatures prevailing and a golden sun  finding a way to shine down through the tree tops into the small cobbled streets. Time has a way of stopping on Charles Street and fall days in particular make me feel lucky to call New England home.

Changing of seasons calls for changing fashions, which also requires new sweater purchases, right?! Right. This is exactly how I quickly justified my new cowlneck sweater purchase, that and along with its many attributes;  chunky, cozy, warm and chic, ticking off just about every sweater requirement for this New England girl. This neutral colored dark heather camel cowlneck sweater by Joie lends itself perfectly to brown, black, blue and grey jeans, corduroys or leggings, making putting together an outfit effortless. While putting together this outfit, I could have easily interchanged brown suede boots for a black or navy pair and my jeans for a darker wash or even a color like burgundy or brown. Frankly, any of the on trend Over The Knee boots from this post would look awesome with this Joie Cowlneck Sweater!

I liken this  Joie Turtleneck Sweater to a more flattering New England Fisherman’s sweater – the lines are a bit more feminine and tailored while still maintaining that thick, cozy look. Can you say Best Fall Sweater?

Thanks Lauren! My Prada suede boots were actually ordered by my mom and they didn’t fit her, so were kindly passed along to me! … the only time I was happy to be a size smaller than her (wish I could steal more of her shoes!!). Thanks for visiting as always!

Sounds like you had a wonderful day in Boston. I just love Charles Street and Beacon Hill, one of my favorite parts of the city. So fun to see this post because I was just thinking about buying that Joie sweater yesterday! So nice to be able to see it worn, it looks amazing! I want to add a few more great turtleneck sweaters to my closet for this fall.
